How To Get There

The nearest international airport is in Lisbon, 30 km (about 19 miles) from the apartment. There are various low-cost and scheduled airlines that fly to Lisbon airport, including EasyJet from Luton, Monarch from Gatwick, and TAP and British Airways from Heathrow. There are also direct flights from most European destinations. The rail network to Spain is good and there are plans for high-speed rail links from Lisbon to Madrid and Paris.

The apartment is only 10 minutes walk from Carcavelos train station, so its quite easy to take the airport shuttle bus to Lisbon station (Cais do Sodré) and catch the train to Carcavelos. Trains leave every 20 minutes or so. Alternatively you can hire a car or take a taxi from the airport and drive west along the motorway towards Cascais. It's about 30 minutes by car outside rush hour.
